Let’s Call It What It Is: The Truth Beneath the Labels
Let’s Call It What It Is...
Sometimes the heretic in me wants to scream, “Let’s call things what they really are.”
We romanticise “grass-fed gelatin,” but avoid saying what it actually means:
boiled-down pigs’ hooves and cow tendons.
We defend “traditional nutrition,” yet flinch when the truth gets raw.
And somehow, we ridicule vegans for saying “oat milk” or “almond milk,”
as if the language police must protect dairy’s ego.
Here’s the truth:
Words shape comfort.
If we make it sound cute or cultured, we don’t have to face what it really is.
This isn’t about judgment, it’s about awareness.
Because when we see clearly, we choose consciously.
Whether you eat plants or animals, ask yourself:
👉 Do I know where it came from?
👉 Do I know how it was made?
👉 Does it align with my values, my body, my soul?
Language is powerful.
Let’s stop dressing up disconnection and start naming things with truth.
That’s where compassion begins.
PS: Gelatin isn’t magic dust — it’s made by boiling down animal hides, bones, and connective tissues (the parts we prefer not to think about).
PPS: I swapped gelatin for compassion.
Instead of boiling bones, I use seaweed and fruit, agar-agar, pectin, and Irish moss.
No harm. No compromise. It’s not just food; it’s frequency.
We all get to choose.
Awareness is where we start.
So what are you choosing to embody?
👉 Marketing that bends truth to make you feel good,
or truth that empowers you to make aligned decisions that honour your values?
